I am Isabella Rose,

Born in Australia and part of a Fijian family, my work blends influences of the Australian coast as well as travels in Fiji. Growing up in Australia, I suppose it was inevitable that I would attempt to capture the movement and complexity of water. In an oceanscape, I see a symbol of life's phases, shifting and changing as we move through our days and years. I work mostly in oils for their vibrance and ability to blend.

In painting, I hope to convey a particular feeling or a spiritual idea. I believe in God and that He is performing a spiritual work in our hearts and minds. While painting, I often contemplate something new I am learning in my spiritual walk about His grace and creative genius seen in the natural world. When you see my work, I hope you feel something of that too.

My husband works closely with me, enabling many of the behind-the-scenes operations.
